The University of South Florida women’s golf team defeated one of the strongest fields in MountainView Collegiate history over St. Patrick’s Day Weekend. South Florida finished the weekend at The Preserve Course in SaddleBrooke, Arizona at -16, including -11 on Sunday!

Melaine Green, Senior from South Florida, took home the individual title at -11 (67 – 72 – 66). Melanie is also playing in this week’s Augusta National Amateur!
All 15 Teams were impressed with the condition of The Preserve and felt that it set them up for the upcoming challenges of Conference Championships and NCAA Regional and possible NCAA Championship events!
Kansas State Head Coach, Stew Burke, announced the 2025 installment of the MountainView Collegiate will again return to The Preserve. The dates are March 1 (Practice Round) and Tournament Rounds March 2 – 4, 2025. Coach Burke has a solid field of 16 Teams excited for the challenge that The Preserve gives the players while enjoying the great hospitality that our community and residents provide year in and year out.
Coach Burke also said that the 2026 and 2027 MountainView Collegiate will return to the “traditional dates” in mid-March. Those exact dates will be announced as the tournament gets closer.
The MountainView Collegiate is an institution for the SaddleBrooke Community! The players and coaches rave about their experience and are always excited to get the invitation from Kansas State and their co-host, The University of Missouri.
Additionally, these 4 tournament days are great revenue days for the SaddleBrooke2 Golf Operation and through the Food and Beverage operation.
